Services

Supply, shipping and delivery

We source, import, ship, store and deliver. One company handles the order from the supplier's gate to your warehouse, and answers for it at every stage.

Sourcing and procurement

Tell us the product and the quantity. We find the mill, factory or dealer that makes it, check what they are quoting against the market, and buy on your behalf.

Buying contacts in China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Turkey, India and Brazil.
Quoted to your written specification, with samples before a first order.
Goods inspected and photographed at origin before payment is released.

Import and export

We import in our own name as a licensed Djibouti free zone company, and export onward to buyers in the region. You deal with one counterparty and one invoice instead of a chain of agents.

Import licence, free zone registration and permits held by us.
Full container loads or consolidated part loads.
Foodstuff, oils, chemicals, construction material, machinery, metals and parts.

Ocean and air freight

Booking, loading and freight into Djibouti, coordinated from origin to the port. We hold rates with the lines we use regularly, so a price we give you includes the freight rather than leaving it open.

Cost and freight Djibouti, or delivered to your warehouse.
Air freight arranged when a shipment cannot wait for a vessel.
Marine insurance arranged with the shipment.
Bill of lading and documents sent ahead of arrival.
Aerial view of warehouses, containers and trucks at the Djibouti free zone
Service 04

Free zone warehousing and storage

Goods can sit in Djibouti under our name, duty suspended, until you call them forward. That is useful when a bank facility is still open, when the birr is moving, or when your yard is full.

Bonded and non-bonded storage, covered warehouse and open yard.
Stock held and released in part loads as you need it.
Stock position reported so you know what is left.

Service 05

Inland transport and last-mile delivery

Once the goods are cleared we move them up the corridor by rail or road. Delivery is to your warehouse in Addis Ababa, Dire Dawa, Adama or wherever you trade from, and onward to Somalia and South Sudan on request.

Rail and road freight arranged from the same office that handled the import.
Full or part loads, with delivery dates confirmed in writing.
One landed price, so there is nothing to add at the border.

Clearing, supply and terms

Customs clearance and documentation

Invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, certificate of analysis and insurance prepared to match what Djiboutian and Ethiopian customs and your bank ask for. Clearing handled by us at both ends.

Wholesale and bulk supply

We sell in container and tonnage quantities to wholesalers, distributors, factories and contractors, and hold the same source on repeat orders so the goods do not change between shipments.

Re-export to the region

Our free zone licence lets us re-export from Djibouti to Somaliland, Somalia and South Sudan as well as Ethiopia, without the cargo entering local duty.

Trade finance and payment terms

Letters of credit, advance payment or agreed credit terms on repeat business. We work with the documents your bank needs and confirm terms in writing with the offer.

Distribution and market expansion

For suppliers entering the region, we open the market through an established network of distributors, wholesalers and retailers across East Africa, and manage the portfolio once it is selling.

Quality assurance and compliance

We operate in full compliance with Djiboutian and international trade regulations, and check that every product we trade meets the agreed specification and standard before it moves.
